Self Rescue 200:
You’re belaying up your second on the third pitch when the rope dislodges a block which knocks your partner unconscious. If you have a hard time coming up with a straight forward solution to this scenario then the Self-Rescue 200 level course might be appropriate for you. This course is designed for experienced leaders who have a good working knowledge of simpler rescue techniques such as belay escapes and basic haul systems etc. This course will focus on higher level techniques that are essential when climbing in the multi-pitch realm such as counter balance rappels, ascending to an injured leader, tandem rappels etc.
Prequisites: Students must have multi-pitch traditional leading experience. Students have either taken the 100 level self-rescue course or have a good working knowledge of basic self-rescue skills.
